Mitzvah Photographer /Temple Beth Israel/ Dani's Bat Mitzvah

Dani's Bat Mitzvah was so much fun. I absolutely loved photographing for the this Family.
We started the day at Temple Beth Israel in Pomona. I have been fortunate to have photographed dozens of Bar and Bat Mitzvah's at this Temple. I truly admire the maturity of these kids and the way they look at the world. Dani is a special girl, she contributes to her family, is a great friend, love to sing and perform and she is a great soccer player. She cares about our community and wants to better the world. It has been a joy watching Dani and her sister Sami grow up and be a part of their special Mitzvah services and parties. Here are a few photographs from the day.

After the Bat Mitzvah services, a musical themed party was being created by the talented Allen from Rhythm Entertainment and The Avalon Room at the Pomona Fairplex.

The Horah is an exciting ritual of Mitzvah parties.

Dani had special dances with her Father and Grandfather.

The kids had fun activities to chose from at the party at the Pomona Fairplex Avalon Room.

The ladies got to pick out fancy eyelashes. They loved it.

Guests were thrilled to star in their own rock video which they got to take home on DVD.

Caricatures were the hit of the Dani's Bat Mitzvah Party. I think all of the guests had one done.

Dani had a blast at her party. 

The kids loved the fun props that Rhythm Entertainment handed out during the party.

I can't wait to see the video that Steve Moses of Vantage Point Productions creates. Steve is always amazing to work with.

I absolutely love photographing Bar and Bat Mitzvah's at Temple Beth Israel in Pomona. The love, culture and history is fascinating. It is so neat to experience their customs and to document such amazing photos.

Miss Dani is having her Bat Mitzvah in October. She wanted some really cool photos to display at her service and party. I also photographed her sister Sami's Bat Mitzvah at Temple Beth Israel almost 2 years ago. It was such a fun party and I am thrilled to be a part of Dani's special Bat Mitvah day.

Bar Mitzvah photographer/ Temple Beth Israel Photographer/Jeremy's Bar Mitzvah

Jeremy was my last Bar Mitzvah of 2009. I had so much fun photographing these Bar and Bat Mitzvah's for Temple Beth Israel this year. Each one was unique and special and the maturity of these kids is inspiring. Jeremy is a smart and funny teen with a bright future ahead of him. He loves music and it was really cool that he got Cantor Paul to sing Bohemian Rhapsody for part of the Bar Mitzvah service.

I only photographed the family portraits and the service so here is a quick sneak peak. Enjoy!

The Torah photographs are always my favorite. They capture so much emotion.

Rabbi Kupetz always give the best advice to the Bar and Bat Mitzvah's kids during the service.

I did take a few photos of the party room for Jeremy. This photograph was for his candle lighting.

Thanks Temple Beth Israel for a great year of photos. These kids were so neat to work with and I feel very blessed to have been a part of these amazing Mitzvah events.

Bar Mitzvah photographer/ Temple Beth Israel Photographer/Garrett's Bar Mitzvah

Garrett's Bar Mitzvah was finally here... I have been waiting for almost 2 years to photograph this adorable guy's special Bar Mitzvah ceremony and celebration party. The service was held at the beautiful Temple Beth Israel in Pomona, and his party was at the Claremont Doubletree. I have known Garrett's mom and Family for a long time, so this was a very special day of photographing for me. We started at Temple Beth Israel for his Bar Mitzvah service. Garrett did such an amazing job. He is so articulate, funny, confident and sweet. Here are just a few photos from the day. I am so behind on blogging and holiday stuff so I had to make this post shorter than usual... Enjoy.

I love the emotion in the shot. Just beautiful. Temple Beth Israel is a beautiful Temple and I really enjoy working there.

Now for the party fun at the Claremont Doubletree. Garrett's party theme was Baseball!

The hora was so fun. The entire family was involved and the finale was Garrett on the chairs and a big blast of confetti at the end. So fun!

Claremont Photographer/Bar Mitzvah Photographer/Temple Beth Israel Photographer/ Garrett turns 13!

Garrett is turning 13! He is having his Bar Mitzvah at Temple Beth Israel in November. His parents knew they wanted some really cool photos of him to display at his Bar Mitzvah so we headed down to Claremont for a very fun photography session. Garrett's Bar Mitzvah party theme is baseball. He wanted some casual photos that described a baseball feel to them. I had just the plan for his Claremont photo shoot.
