Chris & Melinda say " I do"

Chris and Melinda have been dating for over 20 years and it was finally time to say"I Do". This was an extremely cultural wedding. It was so much fun to work. Thank you so much to my friend Tricia from Swiss Park for referring me this exciting wedding. The bride wore a Victorian dress custom made for her by Chris's sister. The groom's family and friends wore traditional Bavararian Folk Dance attire. Here are a few details of the day.

Look at these beautiful Victorian accents. Melinda's garter was from her mother's wedding 50 years ago...

Holy Communion

Here are some of the guests with Their Bavarian Folk Dance outfits on. So festive...

The evening was filled with many German traditions including this horn blowing song.

The kids were so adorable performing with the ancient bells passed down for generations

Schuhplatting and other festive dances were performed throughout the evening.

This is Chris's dad- Chris Sr. He was featured in the Rose Parade this year on the City of Whittier float, playing his accordion. He moved here from Germany 50 years ago and married and had 6 children. Chris the groom was the youngest of the six.
