Love in the Sun~Palm Desert Wedding Photographer~ Christina & Ash

It was a gorgoeus day in Sunny Palm Desert, California last Saturday. Not the weather this couple from Vancouver is used to that's for sure, so they soaked up every minute of their love in the sun wedding. The couple chose the breathtaking JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa to have their destination wedding with 70 of their closest family and friends. Ash proposed to Chrsitina at this very hotel so it only made sense to get married here as well. It was truly an honor to be a part of this wedding. I absolutley love working at the Desert Springs Marriott. I am one of their preferred photographers and it is always a pleasure to be among such professional staff members.

I started the afternoon with the groom Ash. He is such a charming guy. He is from London and I just adored listening to him speak as well as his fellow Englishmen who attended the wedding. Ash was so fun to photograph. He is so easy going and has an incredible smile, and oh I can't forget about the dimples. Awhh! Christina is one lucky girl.

Next, I headed up to the beautiful bride Christina's room. She chose to enjoy the moments before her wedidng and take her bridal portraits after the ceremony. It was nice to photograph all of the details, like her gorgeous dress, shoes from Paris and the many other details that tell a story of the wedding.

Christina was escorted by boat to the cereomy sight. Such a lovely entrance for a bride to greet her groom. Ash was waiting with tears in his eyes.

The photos of this Palm Desert wedding were just incredible. I promised Christina that I would work extra fast to get her the photos so she can share them with her other guests at the second reception they will be having back in Vancouver.
